A still from FOURPLAY: TAMPA, which premiered at Cannes and most recently screened at Sundance 2012

"Most noteworthy, perhaps, is David Fabelo’s editing..."

FOURPLAY: TAMPA – Hammer to Nail: High praise from Mr. Michael Tully for our short film that had its first in Park City last night. Yes, my ego inflated a bit with the above pull quote, but he does a great job high-lighting several members of cast and crew.

The screening was filled with plenty of laughs, both enthusiastic and anxious laughs, and even I was squirming in my seat as the climax of the film unfolded. Good Q & A and all around fantastic experience watching it with last nights crowd.

More stories to come when I have time to post!

"Comedy is a great lubricator, pardon the pun..."

FOURPLAY: TAMPA gets a nice mention in the Salt Lake City Tribune leading up to its Sundance premiere this Friday (which I will be attending - looking forward to seeing this with an audience for the first time outside of Austin).

Mention begins about halfway down this page - and with some quotes from Kyle to boot!

DO OVER going to the DAM Short Film Festival in February

This is the most exciting news of all in the last few weeks: My short film DO OVER - my first short film in six years and first short film as a "professional film maker" - will premiere at the 8th Annual DAM Short Film Festival on February 11th in Boulder City, NV.

Check out the details here!

"Do Over" long synopsis: Making a good first impression is the key to any successful romance. That's why as soon as his date with Sarah veers off course, high school sophomore Adam makes a simple request that just might give him another chance to impress her… and another… and another… and… another.

More news in the coming days and weeks as we near completion on "Do Over" and may even have more screening dates on the horizon... Check back soon!
